Enhanced DBS check
Nobody works with our clients before their enhanced DBS certificate is back and checked.
Right-to-work and references
Identity, right-to-work and written references are verified before an offer is made.
The Care Certificate
New carers work through the Care Certificate standards, plus dementia and moving-and-handling training.
Shadow shifts first
Every new carer shadows an experienced colleague before they ever visit a client on their own.
Spot checks and supervision
Seniors carry out unannounced spot checks and regular supervisions once someone is on the rota.
Refresher training
Mandatory training is refreshed on a rolling basis, and we top it up when a client's needs change.

Our team comes from all over, and a lot of our carers speak more than one language. If English isn't the language you're most comfortable in — or it isn't your mum's or dad's first language — just say so when you ring. Where we can, we'll match you with a carer who speaks it.
