Do you charge for travel or an assessment?
The assessment is free and there's no obligation. Travel between ordinary scheduled visits isn't charged to you. Mileage only applies where a visit involves taking someone out, and it's always agreed with you first.
What if two carers are needed for each visit?
Some people need two carers at every visit — for a hoist transfer, for example. A double-up visit is charged as two carers, and whether it's needed is confirmed at your free assessment.
What about nights and live-in care?
Sleeping nights and waking nights are quoted individually — please talk to our team about availability. Live-in care starts from £1,450 a week.
Can the council or NHS help with the cost?
Often, yes. We work with Suffolk County Council direct payments, NHS Continuing Healthcare and personal health budgets. We can explain the routes, but we can't determine eligibility or give regulated financial advice.
